Illinois High School Baseball - Loyola Academy holds off Deerfield
May 17, 2022: Deerfield, IL 60015 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) and the host Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL), witnessed Loyola Academy's baseball team gain a win over Deerfield by a score of 8-4.
The Ramblers (16-11) will now prepare for their match against Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league match with a 23-9 record. In their last match, Maine South was overwhelmed by New Trier (Winnetka, IL), 4-0, in a league match.
The Warriors (12-17) will now prepare for their match against Maine East (Park Ridge, IL). The Blue Demons go into the Central Suburban - North match with a 3-17 record. In their last match, Maine East was overwhelmed by Evanston (Evanston, IL), 10-1, in a league match.
