May 17, 2022: Groton, MA 01450 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the South Colonials (Worcester, MA) softball team overwhelmed the host Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA), by a margin of 12-6.
With the triumph, South moves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Colonials host Notre Dame Academy (Worcester, MA) to play the Rebels in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 18. The Rebels come into the contest with a record of 4-6. Notre Dame Academy lost 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Burncoat (Worcester, MA)
In their next game, the Crusaders play the Fitchburg Red Raiders (Fitchburg, MA) in a Midland-Wachusett B contest, on Wednesday, May 18. Groton-Dunstable will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record.
