The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA) and the visiting Grove City Eagles (Grove City, PA), saw Mercer's softball squad nip Grove City by a count of 11-4.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Meadville for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 18. Mercer will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-11.
