Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Adena Warriors (Frankfort, OH) and the visiting Belpre Golden Eagles (Belpre, OH), witnessed Adena's softball squad tip Belpre by a count of 7-1.

The Warriors now sport a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to South Webster for a non-league match on Saturday, May 20. Adena will face a Jeeps squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Zane Trace (Chillicothe, OH). The Jeeps record now stands at 14-2.

With the loss, Belpre moves to 16-11 on the season.
