Portage Indians (Portage, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hammond Central Wolves (Hammond, IN), 12-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Portage upgrades its record to 12-13 on the season. The Indians travel to Munster (Munster, IN) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Monday, May 20. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 15-11. Munster won 15-4 in their recent non-league test against Bremen (Midlothian, IL)

With the defeat, Hammond Central falls to 6-14 on the season. The Wolves host Hammond Academy of Science & Tech (Hammond, IN) to battle the Hawks in a non-league test on Saturday, May 18. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 6-5.
