The St. John's Pioneers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Newton South Lions to 2 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Friday.

The Pioneers now have a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catholic Memorial for a Catholic game on Monday, May 20. St. John's will meet a Knights team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Scituate (Scituate, MA). The Knights record now stands at 5-9.
