The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Northwest Catholic Lions (West Hartford, CT) and the visiting Canton Warriors (Canton, CT), saw Northwest Catholic's baseball team gain a win over Canton by a tally of 8-4.

The Lions (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, Lewis Mills was overwhelmed by Farmington (Farmington, CT), 19-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Warriors face the Windsor Locks Raiders (Windsor Locks, CT) in a North Central Connecticut battle, on Saturday, May 17. Canton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 8-6 record after their 4-1 league loss to Ellington (Ellington, CT).
