Michigan High School Baseball - Sault Area loses to Freeland
May 17, 2025: Freeland, MI 48623 Freeland Falcons (Freeland, MI) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI), 13-3 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Freeland advances its record to 13-4 on the season. The Falcons host Alma (Alma, MI) to battle the Panthers in a Tri-Valley - 8 match on Tuesday, May 20. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 10-7.
The Blue Devils now have a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cheboygan for a Straits Area match on Thursday, May 22. Sault Area will battle a Chiefs squad coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI). The Chiefs record now stands at 0-15.
