The Jets now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Linden-Hubbell for a Copper Mountain challenge on Wednesday, May 21. Jeffers will clash with a Lakes team coming off a 12-11 league win over Ewen-Trout Creek (Ewen, MI). The Lakes record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, Houghton drops to 7-4 on the year. The Gremlins host Kingsford (Kingsford, MI) to clash with the Flivvers in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 19. The Flivvers go into the challenge with a record of 10-7.
