The Menomonie Mustangs baseball team scored 10 runs and restricted the host La Crosse Central Riverhawks to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.

The Mustangs (14-7) will now prepare for their battle against Eau Claire Memorial (Eau Claire, WI). The Old Abes enter the Big Rivers battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Eau Claire Memorial was overwhelmed by D.C. Everest (Schofield, WI), 4-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Riverhawks face the Tomah Timberwolves (Tomah, WI) in a Mississippi Valley battle, on Monday, May 19. La Crosse Central will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record.
