The Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) baseball got by the host San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA), 5-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Dons now own a 13-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Banning for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 21. Verdugo Hills will clash with a Pilots team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Garfield (Los Angeles, CA). The Pilots record now stands at 21-8.

With the defeat, San Pedro drops to 14-15 on the year.
