May 17, 2025: Bergenfield, NJ 07621 Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Bergenfield Bears (Bergenfield, NJ), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Absegami improves its record to 15-5 on the season. The Braves travel to Pleasantville (Pleasantville, NJ) to encounter the Greyhounds in a Cape-Atlantic battle on Tuesday, May 20. The Greyhounds go into the battle with a record of 9-6. Pleasantville won 2-0 in their recent league battle against Oakcrest (Mays Landing, NJ)
The Bears now own a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 17. Bergenfield will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ). The Falcons record now stands at 19-6.
