May 17, 2025: Evanston, IL 60201 Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Jones Eagles (Chicago, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Evanston improves its record to 15-17 on the season. The Wildkits travel to Maine South (Park Ridge, IL) to face the Hawks in a Central Suburban South test on Thursday, May 22. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 23-11. Maine South won 2-1 in their recent league test against Deerfield (Deerfield, IL)
The Eagles now own a 16-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amundsen for a Chicago Public Gold test on Monday, May 19. Jones will face a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Tournament Opponent (, ). The Vikings record now stands at 15-8.
