In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Lyons Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Joliet West Tigers.

The Lions (23-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Porters come into the non-league test with a 14-18 record. In their last test, Lockport went down by Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL), 2-1, in a league test.

The Tigers now sport a 22-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bolingbrook for a Suburban Prarie test on Tuesday, May 20. Joliet West will face a Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 26-6.
