New York High School Lacrosse - Newark drops to Rush-Henrietta
May 17, 2025: Henrietta, NY 14467 Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets (Henrietta, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Newark Reds (Newark, NY), 16-2 in a non-league battle.
With the victory, Rush-Henrietta advances its record to 3-4 on the season. The Royal Comets travel to Honeoye Falls-Lima (Honeoye Falls, NY) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 20. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 9-4. Honeoye Falls-Lima lost 11-4 in their recent non-league battle against Irondequoit (Rochester, NY)
The Reds now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Batavia for a non-league battle on Monday, May 19. Newark will encounter a Blue Devils team coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Eastridge (Rochester, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-12.
