Michigan High School Softball - Imlay City bounces Brandon
May 17, 2025: Imlay City, MI 48444 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Imlay City Spartans (Imlay City, MI) and the visiting Brandon Blackhawks (Ortonville, MI), observed Imlay City's softball team notch a victory over Brandon by a final score of 12-2.
The Spartans (7-9) will now prepare for their bout against Davison (Davison, MI). The Cardinals go into the non-league bout with a 5-12 record. In their last bout, Davison was routed by Lapeer (Lapeer, MI), 5-3, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Blackhawks battle the Flushing Raiders (Flushing, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 19. Brandon will attempt to better on its 2-14 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 1-16 record after their 15-5 league loss to Swartz Creek (Swartz Creek, MI).
