New Jersey High School Softball - Chatham bounces Brearley
May 17, 2025: Chatham, NJ 07928 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Chatham Cougars (Chatham, NJ) and the visiting Brearley Bears (Kenilworth, NJ), observed Chatham's softball team get by Brearley by a final score of 7-3.
The Cougars (8-12) will now prepare for their bout against Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ). The Marauders go into the non-league bout with a 13-10 record. In their last bout, Mount Olive tipped Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ), 16-3, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Colonia Patriots (Colonia, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 20. Brearley will attempt to better on its 4-16 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 13-9 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to St. Thomas Aquinas (Edison, NJ).
