The Great Bridge Wildcats softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Cox Falcons to 3 in the Wildcats non-league win on Saturday.

The Wildcats now possess a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deep Creek for a Southeastern battle on Monday, May 19. Great Bridge will confront a Hornets team coming off a 1-0 league win over Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, Cox moves to 10-8 on the season. The Falcons host Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 21.
