In Saturday's non-league test, the Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN) softball squad got by the host Lawrence Central Bears (Indianapolis, IN), by a count of 11-10.

Next, the Panthers meet the Lapel Bulldogs (Lapel, IN) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 19. Elwood will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 18-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Shenandoah (Middletown, IN).
