Michigan High School Softball - Walled Lake Northern tipped by Lakeview
May 17, 2025: Battle Creek, MI 49015 Lakeview Spartans (Battle Creek, MI) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI), 5-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Lakeview improves its record to 11-10 on the year. The Spartans host Salem (Canton, MI) to play the Rocks in a non-league game on Saturday, May 17. The Rocks enter the game with a record of 18-6. Salem lost 7-1 in their recent non-league game against Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI)
The Knights now hold a 25-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bloomfield Hills for a non-league game on Sunday, May 18. Walled Lake Northern will play a Black Hawks squad coming off a 17-9 non-league loss to Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI). The Black Hawks record now stands at 12-9.
