In Saturday's non-league test, the Whippany Park Wildcats (Whippany, NJ) softball squad got by the host Nutley Maroon Raiders (Nutley, NJ), by a tally of 5-4.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Morris Hills Knights (Rockaway, NJ) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 17. Whippany Park will attempt to advance on its 8-11 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 13-5 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ).
