New Jersey High School Softball - Passaic Valley gets by West Essex
May 17, 2025: Little Falls, NJ 07424 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Passaic Valley Hornets (Little Falls, NJ) and the visiting West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ), observed Passaic Valley's softball team get by West Essex by a final score of 5-4.
The Hornets (21-2) will now prepare for their bout against Mount St. Dominic Academy (Caldwell, NJ). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 17-3 record. In their last bout, Mount St. Dominic Academy tipped Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ), 6-2, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 19. West Essex will attempt to better on its 7-15 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 7-13 record after their 15-3 league loss to Livingston (Livingston, NJ).
