Michigan High School Softball - St. Francis knocked off by Sacred Heart Academy
May 17, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 The Sacred Heart Academy Irish overwhelmed the visiting St. Francis Gladiators softball squad by a count of 12-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Irish meet the Central Montcalm Hornets (Stanton, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 19. Sacred Heart Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 16-4 season record. The Hornets go into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 14-4 league win over Lakeview (Lakeview, MI).
The Gladiators (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary (Lake Leelanau, MI). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, St. Mary was routed by Buckley (Buckley, MI), 7-4, in a non-league challenge.
