The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) and the visiting Westview Warriors (Topeka, IN), observed Wheeler's softball team get by Westview by a tally of 14-10.

The Bearcats (14-5) will now prepare for their bout against North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN). The Bluejays go into the non-league bout with a 8-11 record. In their last bout, North Judson-San Pierre tipped Prairie Heights (LaGrange, IN), 13-10, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles (Elkhart, IN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 19. Westview will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, IN).
