Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Cambridge Rindge & Latin can't hold off Newton South
May 18, 2022: Newton, MA 02459 In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Newton South Lions volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Cambridge Rindge & Latin Falcons.
The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against St. John's (Shrewsbury, MA). The Pioneers come into the non-league match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, St. John's was edged by Boston College High (Boston, MA), 2-1, in a non-league match.
With the loss, Cambridge Rindge & Latin drops to 7-4 on the campaign. The Falcons host Wayland (Wayland, MA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league match on Friday, May 20. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 0-1.
