May 18, 2022: Lancaster, SC 29720 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Buford Yellowjackets (Lancaster, SC) and the visiting Marion Swamp Foxes (Marion, SC), saw Buford's softball squad achieve victory over Marion by a count of 16-5.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 21-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Latta for a non-league match on Friday, May 20. Buford will face a Vikings squad coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Buford (Lancaster, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 12-0.
With the loss, Marion falls to 9-7 on the campaign.
