May 18, 2023: Troy, MI 48085 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Stevenson Spartans (Livonia, MI) softball team overwhelmed the host Athens Red Hawks (Troy, MI), by a margin of 8-3.
With the triumph, Stevenson moves its record to 23-3 on the year. The Spartans travel to Detroit Country Day (Beverly Hills, MI) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 20. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a record of 12-8. Detroit Country Day won 19-15 in their recent non-league contest against St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI)
In their next game, the Red Hawks play the North Farmington Raiders (Farmington Hills, MI) in a Oakland - White contest, on Monday, May 22. Athens will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record.
