May 18, 2024: Highland, MI 48357 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Hanover-Horton Comets (Horton, MI) and the host Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI), saw Hanover-Horton's softball squad nip Milford by a count of 3-1.
The Comets now sport a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Quincy for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 28.
With the loss, Milford falls to 6-14 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Mott (Warren, MI) to face the Marauders in a non-league match on Sunday, May 19. The Marauders enter the match with a record of 4-8. Mott lost 16-0 in their recent non-league match against Fenton (Fenton, MI)
