May 18, 2024: Pillager, MN 56473 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Pillager Huskies (Pillager, MN) and the visiting Staples-Motley Cardinals (Staples, MN), witnessed Pillager's softball squad tip Staples-Motley by a count of 12-11.
The Huskies now sport a 1-18 record. They play next when they travel to St. Cloud Cathedral for a non-league match on Monday, May 20. Pillager will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Foley (Foley, MN). The Crusaders record now stands at 29-8.
With the loss, Staples-Motley moves to 2-16 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Kimball (Kimball, MN) to face the Cubs in a non-league match on Monday, May 20. The Cubs go into the match with a record of 20-1. Kimball won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Dassel-Cokato (Cokato, MN)
