Michigan High School Softball - Fruitport bounces Whitehall
May 19, 2022: Fruitport, MI 49415 The Fruitport Trojans routed the visiting Whitehall Vikings softball squad by a count of 6-1 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Trojans (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Greenville (Greenville, MI). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record.
The Vikings now sport a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Newaygo for a Central State Activities Association-Gold battle on Friday, May 20. Whitehall will meet a Lions squad coming off a 17-5 league loss to Covenant Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Lions record now stands at 4-5.
