Weymouth Wildcats (South Weymouth, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad smash the host Rising Tide (Plymouth, MA), 33-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 2-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newton North for a Bay State - Carey challenge on Monday, May 23. Weymouth will face a Tigers squad coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Hopkinton (Hopkinton, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Rising Tide falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The travel to Monomoy (Harwich, MA) to face the Sharks in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 20. The Sharks enter the challenge with a record of 12-2. Monomoy won 19-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Sturgis East (Hyannis, MA)
