Illinois High School Volleyball - Walther Christian Academy edged by Chicago Christian

The Chicago Christian Knights held off the visiting Walther Christian Academy Broncos volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Knights now have a 11-24 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Argo for a non-league test on Monday, May 22. Chicago Christian will confront a Argonauts team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL). The Argonauts record now stands at 11-21.

The Broncos (17-9) will now prepare for their test against Christ the King (Chicago, IL). The Gladiators enter the non-league test with a 1-21 record. In their last test, Christ the King was nudged by Islamic Foundation (Villa Park, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
