Kansas High School Soccer - Maranatha Christian Academy held off by Atchison
May 19, 2023: Shawnee, KS 66217 The Atchison Phoenix held off the host Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's non-league match.
The Phoenix now sport a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Baldwin for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 23. Atchison will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Heritage Christian Academy (Olathe, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-5.
With the loss, Maranatha Christian Academy drops to 6-7 on the season.
