North Middlesex Regional Patriots (Townsend, MA) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Lunenburg Blue Knights (Lunenburg, MA), 7-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, North Middlesex Regional improves its record to 9-0 on the year. The Patriots travel to Doherty Memorial (Worcester, MA) to play the Highlanders in a non-league game on Thursday, May 22. The Highlanders enter the game with a record of 0-0.
