The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Lunenburg Blue Knights (Lunenburg, MA) and the visiting North Middlesex Regional Patriots (Townsend, MA), observed Lunenburg's softball team prevail over North Middlesex Regional by a tally of 17-5.

The Blue Knights (10-6) will now prepare for their bout against South (Worcester, MA). The Colonels go into the non-league bout with a 1-9 record.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Algonquin Regional Titans (Northborough, MA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 20. North Middlesex Regional will attempt to advance on its 2-16 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA).
