The St. Rita Mustangs baseball team scored 13 runs and restricted the visiting Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings to 1 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs (21-11) will now prepare for their battle against Lane Tech (Chicago, IL). The Champions enter the non-league battle with a 27-5 record. In their last battle, Lane Tech was overwhelmed by Whitney Young (Chicago, IL), 7-5, in a league battle.
