May 19, 2026: Parkston, SD 57366 The Avon Pirates (Avon, SD) softball routed the host Parkston Trojans (Parkston, SD), 15-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Pirates now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Florence/Henry for a Class B outing on Friday, May 22. Avon will encounter a Flyers team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD). The Flyers record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Parkston moves to 0-7 on the season. The Trojans travel to Wagner (Wagner, SD) to encounter the Red Raiders in a Class A outing on Thursday, May 21. The Red Raiders come into the outing with a record of 3-9. Wagner lost 10-9 in their recent non-league outing against Scotland/Menno (Menno, SD)
