May 2, 2022: Maplewood, NJ 07040 The Mountain Lakes Lakers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Columbia Cougars to 7 in the Lakers non-league victory on Monday.
The Lakers (11-2) will now prepare for their match against Boonton (Boonton, NJ). The Bombers go into the North Jersey - Independence match with a 3-8 record.
The Cougars (9-8) will now prepare for their match against Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, NJ). The Pirates go into the Super Essex - American match with a 19-6 record. In their last match, Seton Hall Prep by Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ), 6-5, in a non-league match.
