Connecticut High School Baseball - Gilbert loses to Derby
May 2, 2022: Derby, CT 06418 The Derby Red Raiders baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Gilbert Yellowjackets to 0 in the Red Raiders non-league victory on Monday.
The Red Raiders (5-8) will now prepare for their match against Seymour (Seymour, CT). The Wildcats go into the Naugatuck Valley - Copper match with a 4-7 record.
The Yellowjackets (1-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Thomaston (Thomaston, CT). The Bears come into the Berkshire challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Thomaston was overwhelmed by Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village, CT), 10-2, in a non-league challenge.
