Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Niles West Wolves (Skokie, IL), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Highland Park upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Giants host New Trier (Winnetka, IL) to battle the Trevians in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 4. The Trevians come into the test with a record of 9-11. New Trier won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL)

With the defeat, Niles West falls to 6-5 on the season. The Wolves travel to Evanston (Evanston, IL) to battle the Wildkits in a Central Suburban - South test on Tuesday, May 3.
