May 2, 2022: Shrewsbury, MA 01545 Shrewsbury Colonials (Shrewsbury, MA) followers exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA), 12-11 in a league battle.
The Colonials now have a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Wachusett Regional for a Midland-Wachusett A battle on Thursday, May 5. Shrewsbury will clash with a Mountaineers squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 4-5.
In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Westborough Rangers (Westborough, MA) in a Midland-Wachusett B battle, on Tuesday, May 3. Groton-Dunstable will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Rangers come into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 14-3 non-league win over Shepherd Hill Regional (Dudley, MA).
