Pennsylvania High School Lacrosse - Peters Township drops to Mars
May 2, 2022: Mars, PA 16046 In Monday's non-league test, the host Mars Fightin' Planets lacrosse squad scored a good 17-9 victory over the Peters Township Indians.
The Fightin' Planets now have a 13-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Catholic for a WPIAL 2A 2 test on Tuesday, May 3. Mars will face a Trojans squad coming off a 12-11 non-league loss to Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-6.
In their next game, the Indians face the Greater Latrobe Wildcats (Latrobe, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 test, on Wednesday, May 4. Peters Township will attempt to move on its 11-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 4-7 record after their 16-12 league win over Baldwin (Pittsburgh, PA).
