New York High School Softball - Alden holds off East Aurora
May 2, 2022: Alden, NY 14004 The Alden Bulldogs (Alden, NY) softball the visiting East Aurora Blue Devils (East Aurora, NY), 7-5 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against Kennedy (Cheektowaga, NY). The Bears go into the Section 6 Erie County IV bout with a 7-1 record. In their last bout, Kennedy held off Holland (Holland, NY), 14-2, in a league bout.
The Blue Devils now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Maryvale for a Section 6 Erie County III bout on Wednesday, May 4. East Aurora will confront a Flyers squad coming off a 20-2 non-league loss to Hamburg (Hamburg, NY). The Flyers record now stands at 0-3.
