Indiana High School Softball - Delta bounces Muncie Central
May 2, 2022: Muncie, IN 47305 Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN), 27-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Yorktown for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 4. Delta will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Anderson (Anderson, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 10-1.
With the loss, Muncie Central falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Union City (Union City, IN) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 5. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 8-6. Union City won 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Blue River Valley (Mt. Summit, IN)
