Illinois High School Softball - Prospect bounces Hoffman Estates
May 2, 2022: Hoffman Estates, IL 60195 Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hoffman Estates Hawks (Hoffman Estates, IL), 12-0 in a league challenge.
The Knights now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Fremd for a Mid-Suburban West challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Prospect will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 7-1 league win over Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 14-6.
With the loss, Hoffman Estates falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL) to battle the Bison in a Mid-Suburban East challenge on Wednesday, May 4. The Bison enter the challenge with a record of 12-3. Buffalo Grove won 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Barrington (Barrington, IL)
