New York High School Softball - Webster Thomas bounces Rush-Henrietta
May 2, 2022: Webster, NY 14580 Webster Thomas Titans (Webster, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets (Henrietta, NY), 5-0 in a league challenge.
The Titans now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Irondequoit for a Class A match on Wednesday, May 4. Webster Thomas will face a Eagles squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Hilton (Hilton, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 9-6.
With the loss, Rush-Henrietta moves to 6-6 on the season. The Royal comets travel to Churchville-Chili (Churchville, NY) to face the Saints in a Class AA match on Tuesday, May 3. The Saints go into the match with a record of 0-5. Churchville-Chili lost 6-2 in their recent league match against Rush-Henrietta (Henrietta, NY)
