Washington High School Softball - Vashon Island loses to Sammamish
May 2, 2022: Bellevue, WA 98005 The Sammamish RedHawks softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Vashon Island Pirates to 9 in the RedHawks non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Sammamish improves its record to 10-3 on the year. The RedHawks host Mercer Island (Mercer Island, WA) to clash with the Islanders in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 4. The Islanders come into the game with a record of 5-12. Mercer Island lost 19-1 in their recent league game against Bellevue (Bellevue, WA)
In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Cascade Christian Cougars (Puyallup, WA) in a 1A Nisqually game, on Wednesday, May 4. Vashon Island will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 2-6 record after their 12-10 league loss to Bellevue Christian (Clyde Hill, WA).
