May 2, 2023: Avon, CT 06001 Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Avon Falcons (Avon, CT), 20-8 in a non-league battle.
The Blue Knights now own a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Conard for a Central Connecticut - North battle on Friday, May 5. Southington will clash with a Red Wolves squad coming off a 14-3 league win over Farmington (Farmington, CT). The Red Wolves record now stands at 7-2.
Coming up next, the Falcons confront the Simsbury Trojans (Simsbury, CT) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 4. Avon will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 7-1 record after their 15-9 league win over Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT).
