Kansas High School Soccer - Manhattan knocks off Northwest
May 2, 2023: Manhattan, KS 66502 Manhattan Indians (Manhattan, KS) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Northwest Grizzlies (Wichita, KS), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians confront the Hayden Wildcats (Topeka, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 4. Manhattan will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Piper (Kansas City, KS).
The Grizzlies now have a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Washburn Rural for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 4. Northwest will confront a Blues team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Emporia (Emporia, KS). The Blues record now stands at 7-3.
