Edgewood Lions (West Covina, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Palm Valley FIREBIRDS (Rancho Mirage, CA), 28-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Edgewood upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Lions travel to Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA) to battle the Normans in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 7. The Normans come into the test with a record of 11-11. Beverly Hills won 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Environmental Charter (Lawndale, CA)

With the defeat, Palm Valley falls to 10-2 on the season.
